The Grand Army of the Republic Humboldt Chapter will share a Tombstone Tour in the beautiful Mount Hope Cemetery. Meet at the new pavilion in the middle of the cemetery for these tours. Tours are 20 minutes long beginning at 11am, 11:30am, and noon.
Doors open at 6pm, warmup laps begin at 7:30pm, and races begin at 8pm. The track is open until approximately 11pm. Come experience the race excitement on this ¼ mile semi-banked clay oval track.

At Monarch Cement Company, strength is more than muscle and brawn, real strength is character, conviction and grit. This century-old company has been producing cement with pride since 1908. Tours will offer behind-the-scenes looks at the assets of the Monarch Cement Company. 20 minute bus tours beginning at 1pm, 1:30pm, and 2pm. All Monarch Bus Tours will leave from and return to the Humboldt Water Tower on the Square.

Participants will begin in the limestone amphitheater and then walk around the park to spot birds, wildlife, and learn about the importance of conservation in this area with Sam Richards of the Audubon of Kansas.
Give back to Humboldt by painting part of their Tornado Shelter mural. Designed by the local high school student, this flower-themed color-by-number mural will give you a chance to make your mark on Humboldt in a creative way! Jump in for a couple of minutes, or bring your coveralls and paint for hours. Every contribution will be appreciated. Volunteers will be on hand to assist BKRT guests.

A local family wanted to sell affordable high quality meat to a community that didn’t have access to it. Now it is a full grocery store that is supported by the whole community. Tours will highlight the butcher counter which is an asset to the Humboldt community. Tours are 20 minutes long beginning at 12:30pm, 1:00pm, and1:30pm.
